Space is around us all the time and sometimes we may not pay attention to how it makes us feel. It becomes the same mundane thing we do every day at some point. In this set place, you may feel happy, sad or just on edge. Maybe this space has smells all around that smell good. Does the place have a crowd or is this place open and spacious? The place I picked and always had in mind is any Michal’s craft store. Now some of them have a different smell to them, but it make that store unique in a way. I’ve always enjoyed entering the store to look find and see the things I want and need to make artwork. Its a comfotable place that is relaxing to walk throughout. I always take my time when walking in Michal’s craft store. Some time I go to Michal’s just to get ideas of what I can make with supplies that I have on hand. Michal’s is a common store to find and walk around in. They have music that plays on the intercomms but I hardly pay attention to it unless theres a good song playing.
Apple the company is a high name brand everyone wants one. Almost everyone has one they store our lives information on just one small device. With all that in mind Apple knows that the phone was taken lawfully. But the problem is that the iPhone has 3 key thing to do on order to get the information they need. First they could erase the information depending on how the phone is set up. Second they have 10 tries to unlock the phone with that in mind they don’t know if he set it up that way. Also with that you have waiting time in between each pin guess. Apple can help the FBI if they work with its software so the FBI can lawfully search the phone. Apple has the ability to temporarily update the software on Farook’s iPhone and remove the three barriers to using a brute-force attack. Now any iPhone will accept new software, it checks to see if the software update has a valid signature from Apple. Because only Apple has these signatures, only Apple can update Farook’s iPhone. The FBI cannot do this without Apple’s help. The FBI wants to bring Farook’s iPhone to Apple, let the manufacturer perform the temporary update, and then allow the FBI to remotely perform a brute force attack to discover Farook’s passcode. Once the FBI has discovered the passcode, Apple simply reverses the update and returns the iPhone with its original software and contents to the FBI.
I bet you thought i was talking about a real gift shop. Well I’m sorry to disappoint you but there is nothing to do with a gift shop here. I am actually talking about a movie that i watched with interest. A wonderful movie about graffiti art in the world. All filmed by one man that seen and knew all the street artist. He got there story he got there life and then he made one of his own. Graffiti art is seen as vandalism and destroying of ones property. But the flip side is that its art and that it can be beautiful. As an artist myself graffiti is art and i see it just as that. Graffiti art has been around for along time and will always be that way. Now each artist has a different view of there art and why they are doing it. Some works may deal with politics or current events. There work can be a personal conflict or conflict with what is going on around them. Either or way the work will always make a statement that stirs the pot.

Whoa.. that’s a heavy topic there. What kind of propaganda are we talking about today because there is seven types of propaganda. We got Transfer, Testimonial, Glittering Generalities, Plain Folks, Bandwagon, Name Calling and Card Stacking. Now we could talk about them all and give examples of all of them but that would take a while. But the root of propaganda according to Websters dictionary is the ‘ideas or statements that are often false or exaggerated and that are spread in order to help a cause, a political leader, a government, etc.’ Lets just start with one today and we will be starting off with Bandwagon. Bandwagon is when they attempt to persuade a target audience to take action. Commonly said “Everyone else is doing it” or “Join the crowd”. This make people want to be on the winning side of the argument. They want you to feel like you’re going into the right side by sugar coating lies. To name a few things recently that causes Bandwagon is Obama’s Hope poster trying to feed us into making the world better. OR currently with the new election that is taking place. Because of all the junk that we have been fed no one is opening there eyes and seeing clearly anymore.

Look out your suburban window. Now look back here. Did you see it out the window? What about last night’s drive you took with your friends. I bet you seen it there. Go inside look around. I know you’ve seen it laying around or in your hand. Visual culture is all around us. I mean are you drinking that Coca-Cola sitting on your table, well maybe your not, but its right there. The colors so bright, so in your face to make you grab it, want to buy it. Seeing all this then makes you think of those shows you watch. I bet it was there too, advertising that Taco Bell or maybe McDonalds. But why are they colored in a way to grab your attention, what do they want you to feel? I know I hear you, you think I’m crazy, that they only picked those colors because it puts them out there. But really think about the colors meaning to you. How do you feel right now? Are you happy, mad, or sad? What color do you think of with these emotions – orange, yellow, RED, or blue. Color has meaning. Blue is trusting and strong. Red is exciting and bold. Yellow is warm and optimistic. These colors impact us everyday even if your not thinking about them. Take away the colors to any name brand. I bet you could fill in the colors. Have someone describe McDonalds’ logo without showing you anything about it. Think about this, they say one a day keeps a doctor away and it has a bite out of it. Two circles one inside the other, the one on the inside is smaller with a woman, wavy lines, and a crown. Six colors in a half moon shape. What were those companies – Apple, Starbucks, and NBC. Did you get them right? I know you did. Because we are subconsciously plastered with them everyday – whether it is while driving, watching TV, or through social media.
